Welcome to Calgary Children’s Clinic, we have three pediatricians accepting new patients . Our consultation services are designed to address a wide range of medical needs, ensuring your child receives the highest quality care.
Wait Time Pediatric Consultation
How long does it take to see a pediatrician?
The wait time to see a pediatrician at our Calgary Children’s Clinic can vary significantly depending on the urgency and specific details your family physician write in the referral letter. Typically, the wait time ranges from 4 to 6 months. However, if there is a medically urgent referral may be accommodated in 1-2 weeks. To ensure timely and appropriate care, referral letters from your physician are thoroughly triaged by a physician or registered nurse. This process allows us to prioritize more urgent cases while still providing high-quality care to all our patients. We keep the referring doctor informed about the wait time. If you have concerns about the wait time or the status of your referral, please contact your family physician for more information.
